Hard to imagine isn't it? My back yard is full of them, which also means it's full of aphids too...

Thanks Ric. I don't much care for the roses, I am picking the little beggars out of my teeth everytime I have a salad though....:whistle:
I wish they would stay off the vegies!

Grow some vegies Vincent, You won't get to eat them, but you will have plenty of wildlife.....:doh:

Lovely Ladybird likes your leaves
had stacks of aphids at the begining of spring, now they are all but gone...
a mixture of water, detergent and eucalyptus oil gets rid of them pretty good :)
nice shot btw... i have never seen a ladybird eat a aphid before but i have seen a nymph rip into a few!

The ABC has a study going on about Ladybirds at the moment Barry. take some more pics as they are trying to find out the distribution of the different species. I think there is only one that is carnivorous.
