I had a bit of a visit to the Canberra war memorial the other day. I saw this thing and thought..."Where have I seen that before?"

After a bit of research at home, I found out it was a world war British Rifle Grenade used to construct Obi Wan Kenobi's original lightsaber.

That's an interesting find Baz. Your living up to your name "Bloodhound" a fine piece of investigation.

Onya Baz!
Your scope might be broken but it's obvious that your brain and mind are still ticking over quite nicely.
Mind you, I reckon if I had one of those rifle grenades, I'd make life pretty hot for Death Vendor, or whatever the hell his name is.
On a slightly more serious note - Several years ago I was servicing the automatic fire fighting equipment at the Amberley Base just outside Ipswich and I got to stand REAL close to an F1-11 in the hangar and I couldn't get over how much more awesome, real and "science fictiony" the F1-11 was compared to the X-Wing fighters of Star Wars.
Science fiction is bloody great but reality is bloody awesome!
