Hi guys.
The September MOC is now "up" and launched (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/index.php?id=69,226,0,0,1,0), check out the great objects on offer this month. I'm really looking forward to reading your reports and seeing your sketches and images.
In an extension to the observing challenge of deepspace objects, we will now be included a Lunar object challenge each month. Many thanks to Rob (rmcpb) who took the initiative to suggest the idea and follow through with the details. I look forward to some new lunar sketches and great images of Copernicus this month!
As usual, much thanks to Andrew (astro_south) for the GX and PN writeups (and all the charts), and John (ausastronomer) for the DB and GC writeups. I did the OC and NB. As mentioned, thanks to Rob (rmcpb) for the Lunar writeup.
August was great with many entries and much interest, so let's continue that in September. Get into it!
