More Moon!
Two images, one at 2048px, but degraded somewhat due to file size considerations and another at 1024.

Here's another at 1,024px, taken with the Nikon D40 rather than the Canon. Not sure which I prefer...
Nikon shot nice too, but noise beyond the terminator a bit distracting I think?

nice one Chris, excellent for a single frame.
looks almost as good as through the eyepiece ;)
by the way, have you tried any reducers yet?

Thanks guys :)
You're right Rob - the noise comes from the reduction in file size. Grrr..
I'll re-do it and see if I can do better within the 200k limit. I'll also upload the hi-res version via the FTP service.

Great shot Chris.
Glad to see that converter finally getting put to good use , it was in storage for some years before you bought it . Hmmm too many toys.
It was also great to catch up with you at the star party.
Thanks

Nice shooting Chris, I'm sure a number of IISpacer's are going to be inspired by your images, I would very happy to achieve such great results.

Truely stunning images there.
I found myself just staring at the larger format image and imagining I was in orbit around it.
The detail is amazing.
Keep them coming.
Geoff.
