Don't be greedy Eric, forward that email on so we can all maybe win some money too
You know, theres probably someone with a vaguely similar surname as yours who recently died in Europe or somewhere that has left all their millions to you as well..

I won the Dutch lottery the other day and today I won 800,000 euros.
But I have so much money due to come in from Nigeria that I just ignored those emails.

We were told that 95% of the email coming into the University is trapped by SPAM filters and dumped. What a massive waste of resources!
This one got through! :P

I was happy enough to win the office sweep, which is about $25,

Just every couple of days I get spam in my Hotmail inbox offering me contact with Sexy Lonely Russian Ladies , Viagara and Sex Improvers (what ever they mean by that ...), not interested .... so my response is to :
1) move it to Junk
2) click it and click phlishing
3) watch it disappear unread.

That looks really good. I'ld really jump at the chance, but get your money quickly, with the A$ exchange rate to the pound, you'll be so much better off!
Just make sure that the cheque isn't written on the Bank of Scotland. :P
:lol: dont you just love those emails (NOT)

Hubby and his mates from work, as a joke, sent away for one of those "enlargement" promotions, and received a magnifying glass.

Good on you. Every year my 'horse' is white, has horns, a beard and only three legs. Its run is timed with a calendar - it keeps stopping to browse.

I was receiving Spam/Irish/British Lottery emails for months, then I decided to reply to one of them. This particular email wanted me to send my bank details to a "Dr. West". So I created this response and return it...
I have never received another one again.
I make these up and send them every 12 months or so.

Stephen,
That is very good. And I hope the good Dr West escapes his charges.
cheers,

What I really find astonishing is that there are people gullible enough to believe these things. I like the magnifying glass; at least you get a bit of a laugh for your money.
