Hi all, last night when the clouds cooperated I got a very nice look at M33. the bright core was, well, bright. NGC 604 was in view and all was looking good until I noticed three star like objects that were popping in and out with averted vision.

I watched them pop for @ 15 minutes before I came in to see if I could figure out what they were. What makes the most sense from what I have found on the web is that they were NGC's 595, 592, and 588. They were in the right area and were in proper alignment with each other and 604.

My doubts:shrug: arise because I was using an 8" LightBridge at 40 and 80x and I do not know if that is enough aperture to see them even from my very dark back yard.

I have noted them with a 10" and found that they were not a particular challenge. if they were easy in a 10" then an 8" in a good sky should catch them.
Well done Brian

Thanks for the confirmation. The trouble here in the Philippines is that my wife and I are the local astronomy club and as relative newcomers to the passion we are not always sure just what it is we are looking at.

PS Dr. Who and Babylon 5 are greatly missed.
