Interesting colours Louie.. what happened to the shots from the rest of the night? No good?

Focus looks a tad soft on this one..

Yes interesting colours indeed in that image

you did well to get anything at all, we packed it up at Linden by 11pm - some haze and cloud..

barely got scope aligned and then had it in sleep mode as there was nothing to be seen :(

The transparency was actually quite good at Kulnura earlier on, no smoke or haze, but plenty of dew.

Transparency dropped off at about 10:30 or so but still good enough to get some good observing in.

Nice picture Louie, but it looks to me as the focus wasn't quite on the mark, but I am getting old and my eyes are failing!! What ED80 scope were you using?

Wow Louie, that is 60 seconds?
Great shot. I won't give you a bollicking about the soft focus, that is what you saw, correct?
The colours are "different" to what I normally get. Any ideas?
Don't listen to the critics, just enjoy it.

Thanks for all the nice feedback guys,I'm not sure If the focus was as tight as I could get
or not. It was low at 2.30 am so all I had in mind was packing up and heading off home !
I spent most of the night trying to get the SXV-auto guider wokring . Of cause I failed or I would of had a longer exposure. Still 60sec is promising so I'm looking forward to getting some longer shots from a dark site. The colour I changed in photoshop,It was more blue and pink after balancing in the cameras software. I reprocessed and added a mask in photo shop again....not sure If Its better or worse but there is only so much you can do with 60seconds I guess.

Nice one Louie.....I admire your efforts...I'm asleep by 10:00pm

Next up 1 x 5 minute image.

I have been trying for M17 this week but high winds and rain last night hampered my efforts....and with rain all day today.........hmmmmmmm

Thanks Tony, I like what you and your camera do mate, so I'm dieing to see more of yours and also follow your progress. I was telling Mike on Saturday night
that I just cant get over the beautiful colour and the seemingly lack of noise .
