NGC 602 in the SMC is today's APOD. http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/image/0810/ngc602_hst_large.jpg
I looked at it last night but didn't notice all those background galaxies. :)

That was a stunning visual experiance so much so it makes the desktop of the year, But same as you Glen will study NGC 602 a little closer on the next observing run.
