M42 Luminosity mosaic part 2

Hi,

Another try at getting a good L channel mosaic
of M42 with the DSI Pro II Mono and GSO 12 on my GEM.

I didn't realise until dawn that there was very thin, high cloud.
It didn't seem to affect the contrast too much.
Again, I underestimated the size of this beast :)

No wavelets have been applied to this.
RegistaxV4 seems to do the best job on wavelets for me, without
adding halos to the stars, but I can't work out why it only applies
the wavelets to a small part of the mosaic and not the whole image?

Doug, you know the story.....

I'm still psyching myself up for the 48mm chop :D
Until then...it's a case of a manual change, which takes me
about a bloody hour to get a good refocus, East-West aligned field
of view etc for each filter....and usually by then the clouds have
conspired against me.

And since you suggested masking tape, now I hear it bloody emits
X-rays!.....:sadeyes:
