Best day I've had for a long time. Dragged the binos out this afternoon, & spent 2 or 3 hrs collimating them. I then took heaps of cool looking pics of thunder/rain clouds thru the binos. I then found venus an hour before sun-down & took some pics of that. I then found jupiter (still in broad daylight) in the binos & captured that on camera too. Then I tested my telescope drive & it works! Then I tested the ED-2 9.5mm EP out in the F5 reflector which showed slight "seagulls" at the outer 5% of the FOV. (Good enough for me) :D Then a thorough test of the Baader UHC-S filter on a few subjects...Works like a treat! I suggest you buy one..Even the clouds that just rolled in & stuffed everything up was not enough to spoil my mood! :)

No worries...left to right: Venus/jupiter/late afternoon cloud bank/sunset cloud bank.
Slightly out of focus on venus & jupiter. I must try this with a telescope.
Sorry moderators for posting in the wrong spot if I have..
