My Boys Finally at the NRL!!

Well, it's been a big day (home at 10:45pm) and my Boys and Our Team can now claim to have played at the NRL!!

It was a fantastic night and the kids absolutely loved it. The crowd was cheering them along.

When Jake scored a try he did a dancing 'Jig' with fingers pointing to the sky which made the crowd Roar!

I could waffle on for ages, but instead here are some pics.

Something I never had the opportunity to do during my time as a player! But now I can do it as a coach!! I am so glad my boys got to experience it.

The whole place was electric, and the kids were still buzzing all the way home to Ballarat.

At these exhibition matches no-one keeps score, they just go flat out and play as much footy as they can in the half-time break!

Just on an Astronomical point: The only things visible in the night sky from Olympic Park was Venus & Joop! I looked. :thumbsup:

Walking back to the car I noticed a faint Crux & pointers too!

How do you guys survive with all the light pollution? :scared2:

But I reckon the important Stars were on the field last night: My boys!! :rofl:
