Including Europa and its shadow transiting the planet. And if you look closely enough you can also see the Great Red Spot disappearing around the limb at upper left.

Conditions were quite nice tonight. A little windy, but nice.

It's good to capture Jupiter so late in the season.

There's a little red and blue shifting at the edges of the planet, but that's the result of rotation. I prefered to align on details on the planet than at the limb.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys:)

It's all great practice for the upcoming Saturn season...and then Mars, albeit a little small next opposition.

What a ripper... I was out playing with my refractors, judging by that I should have had the C11 + DBK out... :) Damn those sneaky clear nights :D

Very well done so late in the season Matt.
(Those color filters seem to be the goods! looks spot on! :) )
