Getting better I think. This is a stack of 10 out of 16 shots. ISO800 @ 180 Sec, jpeg setting, Canon 300D Prime focus. FL1260 (2000 x FR6.3) Autoguided using ToUcam and K3CCDTools V2 and suing StarMate to interface the guiding with the Losmandy digital drive system. Stacked using Registax 3 and Dark Frame subtracted and cropped in PS. No levels or curves or anything special done to the image. Straight stack, DF, crop and resize and quality adjusment for posting. Basically a raw stacked image.

Very nice Paul, there's a lot more detail there if you process it a bit! Though it introduced lots of artifacts for me due to the jpeg size.
Looks very sharp, well done.

I've had a bit of time to have a quick play with the levels and curves now Mike. Not sure, brought out more detail around the glob but I thnk the center is a bit too burnt out now. Looks "cleaner" though

I think a bit of analog processing, using the monitor brightness, contrast (& maybe gamma) settings, is all that may be needed. :D Great shot!

Its Ok Tony, but I think you've pushed the processing a bit hard and "flattened" the image out. What techniques/tools did you use. I might be able to adapt them a bit and see what i can do with the original. Post processing is pretty limited with these uploaded images.

Your Globs are looking good Paul ! the cores you might have to try stacking different exposure times maybe that would work not sure but. Still there looking great mate.
