Great shots Steve  I really like the one where you can see the crowd (No. 3) - adds great perspective. As John mentioned - what camera / settings did you use?

Did you go out on Saturday or Sunday?

Show us some more!

Sorry guys, I really didn't expect any responses so I haven't looked back here for a while. The camera settings were:

Shutter Speed 1/1250s @F10 80mm.
ISO 400.
These were all taken using the Action Setting so I guess the camera did all of that stuff for me. God Bless the Canon 40d. I got mine from America with a five lens kit and bits and pieces for $1500 delivered about three months ago, exchange rate is a bit worse now though. Check out Pyxis Camera on Ebay if interested. I use this camera for absolutely everything and it is awesome.
Steve.:)

PS astro_south...I went on the Saturday but I live 5km from the base so watched the whole thing again on Sunday. I will post some more pics tomorrow night. I also have to mention one other thing...I just taught my wife a month ago how to use this camera to take photos of our four month old daughter. She took every single one of these shots at her very first attempt of taking photographs not involving the baby!!!
