View Full Version here: : Thank you RPAH
Hi Guys,
I have been a bit quiet recently. I suffered a heart attack a few weeks ago and was just discharged from RPAH after quadruple bypass surgery and valve repair. I was quite fit and had given up smoking; and had only just turned 50. So believe me it came as quite a shock.
I am doing OK at the moment and hope to be fully recovered in around 12 weeks. I really miss the astro photography but what can you do.
Anyway, I would like to say thank you to the staff at RPAH, they were fantastic.
I am still quite weak and dont really intend replying to any posts but just wanted to say where I had been.
Bye All.

Jeez Paul! This is a shock indeed. You looked just fine a few weeks ago when you came to Stargard, so it must have happened just after that. I sincerely hope that you're on the mend now, and it'd be our pleasure to see you again real soon at MAS. :hi:

Wow, how do you wrap your head around that?
Life can surely throw you some curve balls.
I'm happy to hear that you've come through surgery OK, and are on the way to a full recovery.
Take care now, and once you start to feel better, DON'T over do it!! You don't want a setback in the healing process.
I'll be thinking of you.
