Go for re-entry! (http://webservices.esa.int/blog/post/1/440)
Morning! We've installed ourselves in the room at the back on the ATV Control Centre. Alberto Novelli, ESA's ATV Mission Director, just came in to say 'hi!'. He has just come from a briefing and told us the re-entry is approved: "We are go for re-entry!".

So next up is the first de-orbit burn at 10:00 GMT (12:00 CEST). The burn will be six minutes long and changes the orbit from circular to elliptical (330x220km)

Is on Nasa tv at moment and its showing the action up on ISS. getting camera ready for the event, looks like it should all start about 8pm our time (1000 GMT)

Hey Kev and Jen, would be nice to see a big fireball stream overhead :), but odds are we wont see anything :( Burn up starts from 8pm, and I presume it will take awhile to get through all Earth's atmosphere, who knows .. am certainly no expert. Will head outside anyway for a peek
