To add to the flavor of the event I am hoping there are some musicians coming to the camp :rockband:
I have an original Astronomy song I have written & yes I can sing it !:campfire::violin:
What I do need is a Guitarist , one who can play a 12 bar blues tune in A.
Pretty easy for an moderately experienced player
Is there someone out there who will be / Wants to bring a guitar to IISAC ?
PM me if you do, and I will send you a (very rough) demo of the song. :D

Good on you, Matt!

I was hoping someone would step up... I've been feeling guilty, because I would take my guitar but we are aiming to do the trip in just one car this year, and I don't have the space. Honestly!!!...

Don't be shy people. If you can play an instrument and bring it along please do so.
I'm not so good at singing. That's up to Ian.
If anyone else wants to sing a song of their choice and needs some guitar backing let me know. Or if you want a jam.

C'mon Al,
There is always space for a guitar.

I just bought my first Mike (A Peavy) and portable stand.
If I thought there was a PA, I would bring it ! :rockband:
Who knows, could be the making of a band "Space Rockers" :D

Ordinarily I would agree... but last year we had to take 2 cars to IISAC. This year with one less kiddee in tow I'm hoping to do it in 1... I've outlawed the swags - we're back to sleeping bags... and I've committed to bring my guitar amp for use as a little PA for the presentations...

If I can fit a guitar in I will, but I just can't commit to say I'll definitely have it there... not unless I leave the scope at home:sadeyes::eyepop:...

Al.

PS I'll do an archaeological dig for my egg... I'm sure I can fit that in!

Ian,

I am bringing my guitar amp for use as a PA for the presentations. If Matt's guitar has a pick up you're welcome to use it. It'll handle a mike and a guitar at the same time through different channels. I also have a mike that I'm bringing but your shiny new Peavey might be better!;)

How about "The Asteroids"?

:P:lol:

Al.

PS. Just be wary of the "meteoric rise to fame"... it usually ends abruptly when the meteor/ite works out which way is up...
