For sale Lumicon Night sky H alpha Filter (1.25inch)

http://www.lumicon.com/telescope-accessories.php?iid=LF3085&cid=23&in=Filter+Night+Sky+Hydrogen+-+Alpha+1.25in&hn=

I bought this from Lumicon in the US and it cost me over $100 after postage and extras

asking for $60 plus postage

Note: this is not recommended for refractors

it also wont produce the results that you would get with a Astronomik or Baader H alpha filter..but then its half the price or less

I have used it only twice-my scope is a refractor, I should have read more carefully before purchasing

PS

It may work well if double stacked with an IR filter- I have not tried, but I recall reading somehwere that this is an approach Japanese amateurs in particular have taken

here is the filter profile

I'm about to trial this make of filter with a IV/IR filter which should give me a 30nm filter for light pollution fighting.

I should withdraw this from sale sorry

I have tried it double stacked with an IR filter and though its not as good as the Baader 7 nm I dont mind the results at all

not a bad low cost alternative at all, even if if were to buy it new from Lumicon, especially if you are only going to dabble with narrow band from time to time
