I have a Celestron Omni XLT 150 I am considering selling. It comes with a 28mm eyepiece as part of the original package.
I will also include a Hyperion 3.5mm eyepiece and a bracket to attach a digital camera. The bracket fits onto the 28mm eyepiece and allows you to attach a digital camera more or less pointing into the eyepiece. Other items included are a Saxon laser collimator, Cheshire collimation eyepiece combination.
The telescope itself has the following specifications
Diameter 150mm
Focal Length 750mm
Making it a f/5 telescope
The mount is excellent, very solid and easy to use. Large knobs and locks make it a snap to use in the dark.
I stress this is a very reluctant sale as I had only recently purchased the whole thing a few months ago. Unfortunately I am not using it as much as I thought I would so I am trying to sell it. Yes I know I am losing money but my loss your gain ;).
So I am asking for at least $600 for the whole lot. I stress the eyepiece is brand new and that alone cost me $250 but it is an excellent eyepiece. A bit short on eye relief but the magnification and crispness is something you need to see to believe.
Whoever makes me the best offer gets it all.
I would prefer pick up as delivery may cost more (which you may need to pay depending on the price you offer). I live in Sydney on the Northern Beaches, near Manly.
