Hi all.
With the moon past full and a bit of moonless sky before it rises time to get some new objects in the bag. I just had to dig up 2 really obscure ones.

Sa2-237 a nice little bipolar planetary nebula in Serpens Cauda. 2 x 10 mins ISO 1600 . Located at RA 17,44.7 DEC -15,45. Its a young one too, apparently only 624 years old, see http://www.ctio.noao.edu/REU/ctioreu_2001/rudyproj.html
Yet more info on it http://www.ctio.noao.edu/REU/ctioreu_2001/rudy/PN.html. Ironically I didnt image it because of this info, I just picked it out of those listed on Star Atlas Pro and dug up this info when looking up info on it after Id taken the image.

Lo 13 (longmore 13)This is pushing my gear and light polluted location. 2 x 10 mins and 1 x 15 mins ISO 1600. Its at 16,09.7 DEC -30,54 Magnitude not listed. According to blackskies.com its been seen visually in a 20 inch.

Finally a brighter one NGC 6369 in Ophiuchus. Not far from Antares. 2 x 10 mins ISO 1600
All taken with my 10 inch F5.6 scope, Baader UHCS filter and 300d camera.

:)
Kudos to Paul Mayo's Star Atlas Pro software it makes finding these obscure things possible. I print a chart of each object, with a large, and small scale chart on each page. I will even tack on a small DSS image so I know what it should look like :) In this case Lo13 was so faint I couldnt even see it on the camera LCD screen, I had to stack and process the images before I was even sure I'd got it :)

Scott, I know it's not a Planetary Nebula, but could you take an image of Proxima Cent, as most of the images I see are old or wrong,it would be great to see an upto date one. Thanks in advance. astroron
