OS purchase

I've just seen an eyepiece I want on Cloudy Nights Classified. I've always had good experiences buying on IIS and I assume that the same would be true if I bought from an overseas astro site's classifieds. But before I part with the hard earned cash I though I would check to see if there are any cautionary tales. You can PM me if your reply is too slanderous/controversial/embarrassing.

Depends who the seller is. Ultimately they will take your money, whether they're honest about shipping the goods is another matter.

I have purchased maybe a dozen items from OS from both Astromart and dealers and never had anything go missing.

I did however purchase an item advertised here on IIS once that never arrived.
