Binocular mount

Well, It's not the best mount I've had to use..or the worst:) .. but it'll do for awhile. The shaft needs to be a wee bit longer to get further away from the tripod & the bracket I made to hold the binos to the shaft is a bit weak.
She'll be apples. :thumbsup: Now I can go out and view some nice rain clouds!! :rolleyes: :doh:

No doubt it's been done plenty of times before Iddon, but thanks anyway. Certainly beats holding them by hand that's for sure!

Just an idea I had in my head before spotting the EQ mount in the shed. Obviously you can adjust the height, the distance the binos are away from the centre pole & the horizontal & vertical directions. Using perhaps 30-40mm pipe, 2 3/8" nuts & bolts 2 bigger dia. pipe sleeves, 3 bits of rod or pipe for the tripod base, a bit of welding, paint it. Just an idea..:D
