Greetings,
Joe Perulero and myself Took a wide selection of images of McNaught C2008 C1 during the week (last Wednesday night).

This is one of the images, 2 minutes at 400ISO.
Enjoy
Paul

I did have an AVI of 18 images of this comet but took it down due to the quality, if anyone is interested please PM me and I will email it. Its compressed at 3.8mb.

I've added the total of 18 images and stacked using RegiStax, various exposures and ISO's taken on the same night.

Hi Paul,

Nice shots! Good to see some more pics of this comet. What was the equipment used for these shots? I've had a somewhat difficult time locating it on widefield shots I've taken at 80mm from light polluted skies. Hopefully it gets brighter.

Thanks Troy and Matty,
I used my Canon 350D at prime focus with a Skywatcher 102 and using an Orion Broadband DSF piggy backed on my trusty polar mounted 10" LX200GPS.

We took a total of 18 images at different ISO's and exposures from 6.40pm to 8.05pm.

This comet is moving pretty fast. The AVI I put together really gives the idea of speed.
