Is anyone having troubles loading pages. I keep getting "the page you are looking for is currently unavailable etc". When I hit refresh the page loads. It only appears to be happening on this site.

I get that problem off & on yes. Happened twice tonight so far..Better than not being able to get in for hours on end like the last few days..

It is still doing it, seems to have coincided with me downloading the latest Microsoft hotfixes. Should know better.

I don't have the latest hotfixes and was getting the same problem (ISP=Bogpond) on other sites; I suspect it's a network problem.

I came on today,(SUN), at around 7.30 pm. Started to slow down around 9.00/9.30? Was really slow at 10.30/10.45, reasonable at 11.00/11.30 & almost stopped at 12.00 to 12.30.... :D L.
ps. & I have all the latest up-dates. Got'em the other night. Had no probs. with their speed!!! just the size!!!!!!! :P

All you Jupiter avatar people are really confusing me as I try to quickly skim read to catch up on the thread. It looks like multiple personality disorder. :P
Site seems to go down from time to time, but on closer look it's still reachable but very very slow. It sounds like after your browser prints the error/warning message, it still keeps trying anyway. Maybe that's part of the "hotfix".

Steve, a quick question, if I may. Does the 'Windows hotfix' affect other browsers, eg, Firefox, etc etc??? :D L.
ps. BTW, it's sped up a lttle bit. Time now 1.20 am. L.
pps. Slowed down again. Really slooooow around 2.00 till 3.00 am when I gave up.... Took 10 mins to load 1 page. L.

Jano here is another Jupiter avatar to make it more confusing.
BTW, I have noted that this sort of stuff started happening when the site came back home. Typical, no wonder everything gets sold overseas.

Sorry, not a clue L. I don't use Windoze. :P
Paul, the site did not come home, just the domainname got changed to .au. It's still hosted from the US. (Look it up on Netcraft (http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/graph?site=www.iceinspace.com.au).) There are other potentially heavy traffic sites hosted by the same netblock owner, which may be causing the problem.

I am having problems with IIS only with page loading, it is taking forever to load. It is the same with other browsers as well, no problems with other web sites they run ok, i noticed this last night and seems worse today. Have done scans with nothing out of the ordinary, pages just wont load as normal. Any ideas on what i can do,? any one else got probs today with loading.?
