Hi, I have just joined your forum.:)

My name is Dave, and I'm an avid astro-imager, located in a rural village, in South Suffolk, near the East Coast of the UK.

I have a small, but well equipped home built observatory, with an attached warm-room.

You can see this, and what I do, on my web-site at:

http://uk.geocities.com/daves.astronomy@btinternet.com/

The primary reason for joining this forum, is that I have and daughter and family, living near Perth in WA, and I visit them pretty much every year. Usually staying 4 to 6 weeks at a time.

I'm just about to head over to WA again, and it would be nice to get to know the amateur astronomy fraternity, in that part of Aus, perhaps through a local club or society.

So, any suggestions (polite ones only please ;)) would be most welcome.

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave, :welcome: to IceInSpace!

Nice images on your website!

There's a couple of local clubs in WA, check out the Club Listings (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/clublistings.html#WA) page for a couple. I think there's also the AGWA which isn't listed (reminds me I need to add it!).

I hope you enjoy your time here and look forward to your contributions!

I'm sure I will, and thankyou for the welcome.

We have one or two Australian members, on the SGL and UKAI forums here in UK, so its nice to able to return the compliment.

Thanks for the 'link', I'll check out the listing.

I'm a member of UKAI myself, though I haven't posted anything there for a while. I must return and see the great work produced by UK amateurs.
