Was quite happy with first go at jup ,a proper x5 power mate would make life better but for now im stuck with an el cheapo x3 barlow.
I also threw in a moon shot taken in bad conditions ,still have so much to learn but thats half the fun i guess.

Nice work! Very good for an early attempt.
In both images, there's some RGB shift. If you realign the colour channels they'll look even better.
Well done.
You're off to a good start W.B.
Well done.
This stuff gets really addictive though........

Great first attempt mate! good detail apparent across Jupiter...
As Mike mentioned, an RGB align will help.
Very well done.

THanks guys ,any tips on RGB realign would be great !
You can realign the RGB panes in Registax. Are you using it?
There's an 'estimate' function in the RGB Align tab. I think it's at the Wavelet stage (from memory)???
Just set the box around the planet and click it.
Voila!!!

I don't know much about the technical side of things (translate to nothing
!), but I recon that for a first effort your Jupiter is great!
Some nice detail there. Well done WB.
