Why not !
Take advantage of the weather I say.

Beautiful capture Trevor, very nice tones and sharp detail.
Well done.

Yup - another vote here Trev. Well done - good and sharp, not overcooked. What scope were you using, you 120 without barlow of the 80?

Taken with the 80ED, six shots prime focus different exposures from 150th to 750th of a second stacked in DSS. Slight adjustment in PS for contrast etc, resized and cropped.

I spent 3 hours last night taking shots of stars Alpha Centauri, Hadar, Antairs, Archenar, NGC6231 trying to nail down my focsuing issues I'm just going to have to buy a camera that lets me focus through the PC or someone good at making Hartmann masks who could make me one PLEASE !!!

Chris

Saw this as well from a post I did under camera's etc, to me would eb difficult to make to fit the 80ED which has an outside diameter of 110mm someones selling them for around $80 US which is a bit rich. I just had an idea for a Hartmann mask as I was making myself a coffee at work, the lid off a large coffee or milo tin has just the right OD, drill several holes in it and bobs your Uncle. MIght give that a go in the interim to see if it helps.

Cheers :thumbsup::thumbsup:
