Reprocessed Lagoon,Trifid and Swan nebs.

Ok here are the reprocessed images of the Lagoon, Trifid and Swan nebula.
The Lagoon is a closer crop of the original picture.
Any comments welcome (Good or bad).

Agreed the triffid stands out very nicely!

In the M8 shot, the histogram was clipped in Blue and Green, I had a bit of a fiddle (hoping you wont mind)

I adjusted levels for green and blue, a little adjustment to curves and color balance.

What do you think?

I dont mind at all Alex, that looks very red on my lcd screen.

The images are taken with a Nikon D70 and a 8" skywatcher reflector (out of collimation :P ).

It is a fair bit deeper on the reds/magentas than your original, Which in actual fact isn't what i was aiming to do, Just trying to add a bit more contrast to the darker areas of the nebulosity...

However, I'm definitely no expert on the matter...

Ah you have tamed the kitty. The triffid is terrif :rolleyes:. The balance and saturation on all the shots are nice and vivid. Lovely work :thumbsup:.
