Mars Mercury and Venus above Brisbane River

Hi All,

I set out with my family this evening to get what I thought would be a nice image of the 3 evening planets over the Brisbane River from the Walter Taylor bridge at Indooroopilly in Brisbane. Unfortunately when we got to the bridge the footpath was closed due to bridge upgrades :(. But I still managed a couple of shots from the side of the bridge, and my 3 and 6 year olds had fun! So here they are...

Thanks for the comments everyone.

I'm hoping that the skies will be clear on Friday evening when Mars and Venus are at their closest. We have a nice photo opp in Brisbane just after 6:30 pm Friday, when a low angle (almost horizontal) ISS pass occurs only a few degrees above the 3 planets! Unfortunately at this stage the forecast is for afternoon showers...
