NGC 253 and Friend Widefield

HI guys, last night, or should I say very early morning, about 3am I had my real first go at NGC 253, with a modded camera.

Although pretty small in a wide field without cropping I feel it came out reasonably well, probably could have increased the exposures a bit. :shrug:

Anyway this 7 frames from the 11 I took, as a few didn't quite look right, exposures were 6 min's @ 400 ISO through the Tak and Canon modded 5D, processed in Image Plus and PS2.

Please comment either way, as constructive advice is good, ;) thanks for looking.

Is that taken with the Tak at 530mm F/L?

Great work Leon. I've always enjoyed object pairings, it puts things into perspective...and of course what better tool to do it with than the FSQ that embraces wide flat fields. Might be some more data in the Globular that you can stretch out. If you're having problems managing the two objects simply process them separately then layer them back over the original. As there is quite a distance between them and any other object in the field, could could almost get away with any form of feathering. Maybe worth the effort or just leave it as it and enjoy. Thanks for sharing and well done.

Thanks Matt I do take the opportunity when ever it arises in Ballarat as you are well aware of our sudden changes of sky conditions.

The skill you speak of Matt is the accumulation of all the help I get on this site, but I still have heaps to learn, however things are improving, many thanks for you kind comment.
