Before starting dso imaging, I noticed the crescent moon, so used the 300mm f2.8 flourite Canon lens from Bert, on it, had the IDAS LPS filter installed. That filter also blocks IR light for the modded 350D
Four ISO 100 images aligned and processed with Iris. You can see the trailed stars indicating how far the Moon moved during the imaging run. I got a mountain top sun illuminated at about the 8 oclock position. Shot wide open f2.8
