That's so cool !!!
Nice capture.

I'm dying to see a firefly, only saw one when I was very young whilst on holiday in Europe.

Congrats on the nifty too !

Yep, I agree that is certainly different, and I have to say as Andrew did, I have never seen a firefly in the flesh so to speak.

Cool shot Liz, I've never seen a firefly in my life.

Looks like a great lens as well.

Thanks guys .... these little fireflies are quite common up my way, and so bright. and almost magical. Sometimes, when I'm lurking in the dark in my front yard, with camera and tripod, I think that someone is coming along with a torch, then realise its only my little firefly. :) Their bioluminescence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioluminescence) is amazing.

Verry cool.
Have been fascinated by fireflies since a little kid after reading about them in National Geographic mag.
Still never seen one tho :(

I was in a park in Northern NSW on dusk, and there were fireflies coming out of and surrounding a large open split at the bottom of a dead tree.
It was like a fairy land grotto.
