I usually quite like seeing the wallabies loose, but last nights South Africa 53
to Australia 8 thrashing surpassed the level of enjoyment to almost having
me feel sorry for the poor buggers. It was like they were't even close to being
match fit.
Well I suppose they'll be all fired up and back on home soil for the final and
the Bedisloe Cup decider

I tried to watch it last night...I did not make it to the end of the match...woeful was right. Ouch!
Majorly disappointing.
I watched the first half, figured something was seriously wrong...and put on a Sopranos DVD:lol:

If people stop watching drugby they might stop putting it on TV.
And they might begin to transmit something that doesn't involve neanderthal, no neck, low IQ, binge drinking, drug taking, three toed knuckle draggers trying to express their repressed homsexual tendencies.

Well if you have to stoop that low to get a point across, it's not hard to
see who the knuckle dragging neanderthal is in this thread ;)

I'm not worried. One thing I've learned about Aussies and sport... if they lose, they just pick themselves up, dust themselves off and get back to business.
They'll be back...

Hi Coombell Kid & All,
Yes, it was pathetic -- a right ol' pasting. Even I turned it off with ten minutes to go.
I think they kicked too much possession away but its hard to believe it was the same bunch who controlled the game against the Boks so well a week or so ago.
For some reason it also seems the hookers have lost the skill of throwing a ball straight and accurately in the line-out too.
They'll be back ;) -- and watch out blacks when they are (he says more in hope than fervent belief) !

I just got back from morning tea where I met a SA co-worker. I spent 15 minutes eating the words I sprouted last Monday. Not very tasty. I deflected a bit of the gloating by pointing out who came third in the Tri-Nations this year.
We got well and truly done over this time.
Never mind, we'll have our day.
Cheers

Hi Coombell & All,
Yep, congrats to the Blacks --the better team won the day.
Thought the Wallabies played very well, didn't kick too much, there were just a few occasions when they didn't support the ball-carrier as well as they could -- which probably proved the difference. A teriffic game despite the ref who didn't control things well I thought.
Very good game by Ryan Cross too who found a lot of gaps and ran well and Sam Cordingley who was everywhere he should have been all night and directed traffic pretty well.
Next year ...

Les,
Yeah but they kicked at the wrong time and when they did, they turned it
over to the AB's advantage. The AB's played a brilliant defensive game in
there own quarter. But they really didn't start getting into their game until
the change overs around the 50th minite.

It was a much better game no doubt...too bad at the outcome! Full credit to the ABs they played hard.
Give Robbie some more time and he will have the Wallabies playing even better...
