Hello all
not posted or produced in a while....I completely upset my set up by adding an FSQ 106 and Proline 16803 on top and it hasnt worked right since.
Anyway, data for this image has been collected over 2 months and comprises a total of 24 hours LRGB.
I dunno why, but this proved very difficult to process and The Sky/CCDSOFT simply refuse to plate solve this part of space?!
12.5" RC, STL11K, AO-L, PME.
thanks for looking

You have produced a great close-up of this galaxy Martin. The central area particularly looks good with plenty of natural looking detail, a real swirling effect and detail visible right into the core - nice.

Ya rotten mongrel!
That's what I've been planning for a couple of months now, but the weather has intervened. Now I have an excellent yardstick to go by, doubt that I'll be able to get that much detail, but I'll try.
Great image Martin, I hope you've submitted it to APOD.
Cheers

Definately demonstrates that eternal difference between a "quicky" and an "all nighter". Still, as always, the package helps.
Seriously, great image well worth the time invested.
Well done

Have to agree with Dennis as being the best ground based image of this object we have seen.
The detail and clarity of the central core is stunning Martin.

I must agree with Dennis on that... What an incredible shot! Rivaling some of hubbles images in terms of detail and quality.. Very very nice.
Well done.
