I know they aren't exactly terrestrial but 1 of them half is... (well sort of):) They were both taken with a pentax A10 point n shoot inside a 'zip lock' style waterproofing bag on the island of Tanna.

Love the picturesque sky in the first one.

My only suggestion would be that you may want to straighten the horizon using photoshop or something similar.

Thanks for the kind responses. The pics were taken by my wife while snorkelling and the locals were fishing for dinner - figured we should leave them to it. Hopefully I can match the 1st ones quality with our new 40d (which was of course purchased a couple of weeks b4 news of the 50d:doh:

Thanks for posting these couple of really nice shots. There use to be an
incredible diversity of marine life there with myriads of colored fish, so
I hope the environment is still intact. Your shots have us wanting to be there
in the water.
