I was a bit bored today so I thought I would create a spacescape in Photoshop. After about half an hour of work this is what I ended up with.

It is fairly basic but effective. I want to make another one soon.

Enjoy.

Not bad Matt. Something to do on one of those cloudy nights. What are you going to name it? Can't just call it spacescape?

Matt - have a look at the "LunarCell" filter for Photoshop from Flaming Pear. You can turn out your own planetary objects all day long.....

Hi Jen,

The best way to get photoshop is probably to download it. The lastest version is quite expensive but it is worth every cent.

Thanks Chris,

LunarCell is awesome. I just had a quick play. When I have more time I'll see what I can do.

bah, lunercell is cheating :) do it from scratch

so as to save forum space, here's a little number i'm working on. Yet to finish the sun as i need to distort the shape and bring the flares into the planet so to make them look like their coming from the surface not behind

Looking awesome Nick! I can't wait for the finished product. :)

Are you going to include some planets in it as well?
