I watched the ISS come over last night and it looked great, I dont own any binos, its coming over tonight with mag of -2.2 has anyone looked at through binos, and if so is there any detail ect.

I've seen detail quite plainly in a pair of 8x40s. The solar panels are really obvious.

The weather must be better up there than it is here if you think you have any chance of seeing it.

Some have even been able to image the ISS with good detail through their scopes.

I've had it go through the field of view when I was observing once.. Through an 8" you can see it clear as day... If you can keep it in the FOV.

I've observed it once with 10x50's and saw detail... as AstralTraveller said, the solar panels really stand out...

Have fun!
