Sunday Morning Images

Hi all,

I spent a beautiful Sunday morning outside in the backyard with the camera. It took a while to get the creative juices flowing but once they did, it was a really enjoyable morning.

All images were taken with my Canon 450D and 18-55mm lens.

A nice start Matt, some very nice colours and patterns there.

One rule I keep in mind when shooting is the 'rule of thirds' which helps you visualise and frame your subject for a more appealing and interesting view.

I like the viewpoint in the last one and the patterns in the third one.

When shooting flowers try getting an unusual angle or a viewpoint from down low rather than shooting from above or directly across.
This will add depth and extra dimension to the shot.
