Contrary to what Ponders might say, I am keen to at least try an off axis guider in my 10" newt.
Anyone got one they are thinking of parting with.
SCT versions not really suitable sorry.

You realise that unless you have a Lumicon coma corrector handy already , a OAG will not help much.

Baader MPCCs and Tele Vue coma correctors aren't designed to be used with low profile OAGs.

I too am on the hunt for an OAG (in particular a Lumicon 2" newtonian esyguider -I have a Lumicon coma corrector that I plan to use with it , if it comes with a Lumicon 3x relay diagonal that will be even better !!).

No Ian, I wasn't. In fact the cunning plan was to use the OAG as a "spacer" between the MPCC and QHY8, as at present this requires about 35mm, so why not use the OAG as this distance, or am I wide of the mark here?

You might need to check out the thread in IIS a few months ago.

I was looking at using a OAG with my old XD5 35mm and new 40D and it wont work unless you have a Lumicon coma corrector (0x).

Comes down to how far in the imaging plane is from the from of the "camera", I don't know about you system , and how far back from the MPCC the focal plane is , I have a MPCC too and can connect it directly to my 35mm or the 40D to act a T-adapter, you'll need to get sums right for your set up.
