Taken on 10 Aug. Canon 400d prime focus using 12"LB and 2x barlow. 1/60sec ISO200 monochrome

Just a question, did you have to modify yor LB to get the focus with the DSLR?

Between the camera body and the 2"focuser are: T-ring;camera adaptor and a 2X ED Barlow from Andrews. If I remove the barlow then I could not bring the object into focus:sadeyes:: there is just not enough in-focus unless I replace the existing focuser to a low profile one. I also used mirror lock-up and sharpened the image in Registax's wavelets.

I was going to ask if you had used mirror lockup, as the image showed none of the tell tale vibrations.
