 to Ponting, 156!
 to Lee and McGrath, surviving 4 overs to see the match out and end in a draw!

Would've been a very very exciting time to be there, edge of the seat stuff.

Still 1-1, much better than 2-1 to england :)

Now, the aussies had better find some form.. we just can't seem to get england out lately..

Gilchrist has had a shocking series, dropped catches, done nothing with the bat. Failed again tonight. At least Ponting finally got a few runs tongiht.

I'm glad I'm on afternoon shift, so I could stay up to watch the end. It felt very much like an Australian victory. I hope the poms don't win another game...

Yeah Robby, when did that happen last time?

On a more serious note, just bear in Mind we have been on top for a long time. It was our time in the Sun, maybe the poms are next.

You guys haven't got a leg to stand on! Down in cricket, down in Rugby, down in Netball...
I guess you can play that funny aussie rules game better than anyone else.
 Oh wait on, no one else plays it, except maybe Ireland have a go and more aptly name it International Rules.. :wink2: :D

Gotta love this time of the year!
Cheers

Bout time someone gave it to the Aussies in the cricket. Test matches were getting too boring and no-one wanted to buy tickets for the last two days. Now there is more excitment in the game and even the poms who are football mad voted the cricket more exciting than the start of the premiership. No matter who wins ( I hope the Aussies) Aussie, Aussie, Aussie oi oi oi. The next couple of Tests will have the cricketing world engrossed. Gaelic football is not called international rules, that's just a hybrid of both codes. The Irish game is played with a round ball and a point is given for an over the bar not a wide shot like AFL. STILL GOT NOTHING ON CRICKET THOUGH. OR THE BEAUTIFUL GAME LOL

It's good to see some close test matches for a change that actually last the full 5 days. One thing that is disappointing though is that Australia are playing the worst they have in 10 years and England are playing the best they have in even longer. I think thats why it's been so close and good to watch, but if Australia were playing as well as they were last summer, the series would be 2-0 if not all over. It'll be good if Tait gets a game next week, he might stir things up a bit and there has to be a South Aussie in there seems Gillespie is almost certainly going to be dropped.
