Hi Guys,

Please excuse my complete lack of knowledge when coming to Bird names.
The 2 middle ones look like predatory Birds because all the crows went Berzerk and started to chase them as they both flew over just the once. shots arn't that great I was just happy to be able to take a shot at short notice.

All taken with 40D & 70-200 f2.8 Combo on Monopod when able to be used.

I am using birds more for practing how to image then my love for these creatures but they are definetly growing on me.

Sorry if I am posting too much....just wanting to learn.

I have done a couple of Pelican Shots and cant see myself doing any more for at least a 150 years.

Thanks for the info guys...I learnt 4 bird name today.

A non-breeding White Necked Heron...Poor Bird I feel sorry for him/her never to feel one of life's pleasures.

Pour little White Heron, maybe it should be refered to as a red herring. :D
