No! I am sorry Bill but you can't post that image here..it has noise in it! Preposterous! Sorry, tough I know buuuut that's the game mate, no noise or no post!
Seriously :P this is a great area to image, I, and many others, just love it! You've done a great job, you have sharpened well to increase the resolution but the sharpening isn't toooo obvious, nice work. Colours look good too.
Nice work mate
Mike
PS. Sorry, in case you're wondering, the noise thing was a bit of a private joke, your image is fine
Nice colour and detail Bill.
A very nice image.

Gotta love reflection nebs.. :)
Nice job.. Have you tried longer subs at lower iso? with a 350D you'll get much better S/N ratios from ISO800, and if you upped the exposure time to say, 90 seconds, you would also bring out more of the nebulosity with less noise.

Great photo of the field of nothing.
This is a good image Bill. Its a difficult target at the best of times requiring a considerable amount of data to bring out the dusty nebulosity without introducing noise. If anything I think the seeing conditions at the time of acquisition or poor focus has made the image a little soft looking. Not as sharp as your M17 which was a lovely image. Keep up the good work.
