Hi All,

I've just downloaded my effort from tonight. After some quick tests I gave up on trying to image the HST together with the Moon, and instead just enjoyed it through binoculars. My guess is about 0.15-0.2 degrees separation as it went past? A nice sight anyway.

Instead I opted to image the Jupiter pass. Results attached. K100D with 70-300 telephoto set on ~120mm, 30 sec exposure, 800 iso. My best image of the HST to date. Hope you like it.

Cheers,
Stephen

Nice work Stephen and thanks for the original heads up – this proved to be quite an event.

Lucky you..clouded out down here, only a few fleeting moments of jupiter poking through. No Hubble in sight
