Hi all
Wow is this one a dim object. Last nights efforts with only a small bump up in contrast just to make the nebulosity a little more visible. Just noticed that I havent registered the blue image correctly .. fix it next run.
Image data
Lum 3x 20mins 1x1
Red 1x 20mins 1x1
Green 1x 20mins 1x1
Blue 1x 20mins 1x1
Is going to require a lot more data to make a reasonable image.
Thanks for lookin

Good effort Jeff.
I did a coarse GradientXTerminator filter on your image to see how it dealt with the excess reds on bottom half of pic. Here's the result alongside your posting to see effect. Hope you don't mind .... just something to do .... I'm a bit bored.
You could also pull the red levels down in the red channel to get a similar result if you don't have GXT.

Hi Jeff
GXT is my abreviation for GradientXTerminator a software plug in for Photoshop .... you can download a demo version for 30 days to try it out and if you like it, as I did and others have, it costs US$50 for a license. It's a very useful program for dealing with light gradients written by Russell Croman, a very good astrophotographer in USA.
Here's a link

If you don't know of Russell Croman you should check out his images as well .... excellent stuff. He has a remote control observatory in dark skies location. Lucky, rich " bar steward ".
Cheers
