Yeeeehah! Jen,

No Stopping you now, well, the clouds maybe. :(

Have a play with different eyepieces on some nice clusters and perhaps Jupiter and you will soon find a nice mix and understanding of what EP is best for which object.

With your collimation sorted also, you should find some top views on all your eyepieces.

Have fun, we are all waiting for the emoticon swarm of when you have your next viewing session, take some notes and post your observations, its always good to share in another's enthusiasm and excitement of discovery and satisfaction.

Cheers for now :)

Chris

Hey women love their new toys, too! Well, new to you~ lol. Happy viewing. And don't feel badly....been pouring rain in Orlando, Florida, USA, too. But I do love the smell of the fresh rain and since we're in the heat of summer, it's cooled it down nicely. Now....hoping tomorrow is a beautiful day!

Enjoy your new gadgetry and I can't wait to hear your reports!

Kev...that was awful nice of ya.

And ya know I don't even know if we get notice of friends requests?
 Every forum is a little different. lol. Now you have me curious so I'll have to go check out my own profile to see what I can determine about that. lol.

I could tell easier by clicking on view profile from my own name. Then went to control panel section on the left....look down for Misc and then Buddy/Ignore lists....and yep...it showed Madtuna on my friends list.

You're very welcome~! Lemme tell ya how nice the folks at NASA are...I told them you were bummed cause you'd bought one while there and that it broke in transit to getting home - so they didn't charge me anything for the magnet....it was a freebie. And, of course, I told them you'd planned on coming back to NASA as soon as you could get back to the states. :)

I would venture to say that most of us realize there really is joy in giving as well as receiving. And, if not, there's always birthday's and Christmas. Oh and Mothers Day and Fathers Day. lol. :)
