twas a windy day when i took this so its not as good as it could be...

basically its the same set up as the daddy long legs shot (ext tube, 3x TC, 55mm lens and 50mm reversed) but its 2 frames stacked. there was a little movement between frames so they didnt stack exactly right.. this can only really be seen in the right focused leg in this pic tho.

fabulous detail Ving, the eye's and hairy bits really jump out from that miniscule depth of field.... when does Macro become micro:)

not an easy question to answer robert... when the size of the object in real life equals the amount of chip space it takes up or 1:1 ratio as they refer to it as... this is about 40 or 5:1 or 4-5 times life size on the chip... sorry thats a deffinition of macro..
