First ever attempt at this and very happy. Very low in the sky and with 20 minutes until dinner pick up I started taking shots. PHD working a treat, after advice from forum thankyou, and 60 minutes later I headed to the fish and chip shop. Very understanding wife and child.

7 X 4 minute lights, 6 X 4 minute darks, ISO 800, Canon 400d unmod, ED80, guided w/o petzval, Deep Sky Stacked and processed using DSS.

Any comments/advice welcome.

Good effort Mark. Focus and tracking were spot on. Galaxies galore! I would be very happy if I can manage the same. Was that a satellite moving across from 2 to 8 o'clock?

Hi Mark, I've done a quick processing job using levels and curves. What do you think?

Nice collection of galaxies you've captured there! :) a program called Gradient Xterminator should be able to remove what looks like skyglow from the image... Other than that, tracking, focus and selected targets were all great.
