Well after a week rain the sky's finely cleared. So set the camera up last night to take some photos. Everything working fine so got the guider going and set the first shot up for ten mins. After the image downloaded it looked very noisey. Oh well darks will fix that. So shot the second image again 10mins. Same thing. What is going on hear. The camera is a ST-2000.
Checked all my setting to work out i forgot to put the cooling on the camera. So the next shot was shot at -5 it looked allot better. I do some stupid things sometime.

Stuff ups here too last night...:P
Like you, I had nice clear skies thou a little windy so decided to do a widefield shot...Well stupid me left the usb lead plugged into the camera while DSLR shutter was working away. This resulted in every second image not getting taken...Then halfway through the shots the zoom lense decided to creep down a few mm so I only ended up with 8 subs to stack instead of 20.....:(
I dont usually plug the usb in but I wanted to check the focus again...
Operater error again....:screwy:

What about mounting the Lumicon Adaptor and a coolpix camera at afocal and break the crayford? Wont focus anymore it wont move in or out and is locked in postion and out of focus. Will pull it apart tonight and fix (I hope)

Fixed the focuser. The two screws in the focuser had fallen out. Used the vacuum cleaner to find them Just waited for the sound of screws being sucked in the the cleaner.
