My first Astrofest it got down to -7, My star charts, wet from dew, were frozen into a solid stack, which in turn was frozen to the table.

The IGA at Kilcoy sells cheap travel hair dryers.
Kilcoy Auto Care, ( a camping store too) on the right as you cross the bridge coming into Kilcoy, may still have some 12 volt hair dryers left.

Glad your home again Ron. See you maybe next month.

Hi Ron, heard you had a trip to the NT ?? hope it went well, and you got some good observing in.

We just got back from astrofest today... great time, excellent observing, and my home made dew heater even WORKED :eyepop:.

With the bad timing of rain lately it was good to get a couple of nights viewing in.

Will have to catch up next month if you're open for observing :D
